Q&A Section about CCD camera.

Question: How to check CCD camera Resolution (TVL), as all camera appear the same?

Answer: The TVL output by A/D converter chip, it will pick up the image from Image Sensor and convert to Analog signal (NTSC, PAL). Example our 540TVL camera use Nextchip NVP2010, which will output from 520TVL to 560TVL.

Question: What is the different from CCD to CMOS camera?

Answer: Both CCD and CMOS Image Sensor can offer superior image, however it is different in Technology. CCD use widely because it require less circuitry than CMOS.
Many low cost CMOS camera has low quality image, because it use smaller Image sensor (1/8").
If both camera CCD and CMOS use the same size Image Sensor, it will hard to say which one is better.
